MOVIESinMO REVIEW
This movie has everything. A great director, pop culture references, virtual reality, and eye-popping graphics. So what the hell happened. Everything in this movie was like watching an eighties commercial. Spielberg is a great director, but I think he got lost in his own nostalgia.

There were so many pop culture references, I found myself counting all the ones I could find to have a reason to continue watching this movie. Graphically, the film shined, but ultimately all this movie did was make me want to buy virtual reality glasses and play a game in a post-apocalyptic world. The acting is true to the Spielberg we all know, and the script heavily relies on scenery. I had high hopes for this movie and was excited to see it finally.

Almost two and a half hours later, I had very few nice things to say about it. If they take out all the horrible acting and unnecessary, childish storyline, Ready Player On could be an awesome 30-minute music video.
