WHAT’S IT ABOUT
Forced out of his own company by former protégé Darren Cross, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) recruits the talents of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), a master thief just released from prison. Lang becomes Ant-Man, trained by Pym and armed with a suit that allows him to shrink in size, possess superhuman strength and control an army of ants. The miniature hero must use his new skills to prevent Cross, also known as Yellowjacket, from perfecting the same technology and using it as a weapon for evil.

MOVIESinMO REVIEW
Even when his friend Luis, is telling him what happened while he was away, depressing as it sounded, was funny. Luiz takes him to meets the rest of the gang, all former thugs, and from here we learn about a “job” that Scott is perfect for, according to Luis.

Meanwhile, Hank retired from his company over twenty years earlier, comes back to his former employer only to find out they have been trying to replicate and improve on Dr. Pym’s technology. Switching back to Scott, more about him is revealed, and as reality hit, he is forced to do “the job.” Once Scott does what was called the last big score, and Dr. Pym and his daughter Hope start agreeing on some major issues, both characters stories come together as one. Hank, Hope, and Scott ultimately work things out, and a new Ant-Man is born. From here, we see the training, an explanation of the tech and a couple of flashbacks that fill in the blanks that got us up to this point. The bad guys, Darren Cross in particular, finally figure out how to use Pym’s technology to make Yellowjacket, a very high-tech battle suit. At this point, Hank has to stop the misuse of the Pym-particle and Scott has to redeem himself for his daughter’s sake and his. The chemistry between the characters makes this film so adorably believable that you realize it doesn’t matter if what there are talking about could never happen in real life. Actually, a lot of what’s said in Marvel movies sound crazy if taken out of context. So get ready to add more terms like Quantum Realm and Microverse. Overall, Ant-Man is a great family action movie that has a different take on the whole comic book and superhero thing.
