WHAT’S IT ABOUT

Transmorphers, the Asylum’s 2007 knock-off of Transformers, is definitely one of their more brazen title spoofs. Set in the futuristic world of 2337, this film finds a human race that was besieged by alien robots (in an equally futuristic 2009) and forced underground for hundreds of years. There is, of course, a revolt by some brave humans, and they take on the robots, who, almost as if to fit an incredibly porous plot, can morph into just about anything. The CGI looks utterly terrible and storyline is severely lacking, but some corners of the film criticism Internet actually think this one is worth your time.
